Kumasi School for Performing Arts programs are designed to teach the ancient duties of the Kemetic Scribe, as well as the classical skills of the Djali of the Great Mali Empire. These skills include oral history through storytelling, musicality, and meaningful movement through dance.

Kumasi School for Performing Arts’ mission is to support the community’s heritage of African and Pan African Performing Arts through education. The KSPA curriculum includes: Summer Performing Arts Intensive, After School Drum and Dance Enrichment Classes, Writer’s Workshops, as well as classes in Stage and Screen performance. Moreover, The Sesh Project provides exposer to professional performers, performance groups, and opportunities to perform.

The Umoja Ensemble of the Inland Empire, has a mission to help restore, repair, and revitalize the physical, psychological and spiritual health of the populations we serve, through the preservation, practice, and presentation of Pan-African Arts.

We offer a variety of programs to meet the social, economic, and educational needs of our clients including performances, workshops, lectures, curriculum development and facilitation, as well as program consultation.

Rates start as low as $250 per performer, per hour or portion there of, plus 30% booking fee.
