The Kumasi School for the Performing Arts (KSPA) has a program and curiculum to teach the art of writing through an African aesthetic in historical and memoir documentation, creative and non-fiction story construction, as well spoken word development for any level. Develop skills in character development, dialouge, dictation story structures, adaptation, scripting, proes & poetry and much more!

Makeda is a playwright and author of two books, I See Hip Hop Afrika, (a picture poetry book), and 12 Days in Senegal; An Artist’s Journey, as well as being a contributing author in an anthology, Dance Adventures: True Storys About Dancing Abroad, edited by Megan Morrison.
